Superior Living Comfort, All Year Round
Our product has a high R-Value of 3.85 per inch or 15.4 in a standard wall cavity. The higher the R-Value the better the insulation resists the flow of heat making you feel more comfortable.
But that’s not all of it. There is another factor that plays a role in your comfort and that is air infiltration. Comfort fill is better than the competition at reducing air infiltration even when using the same product. The Comfort Fill process installs cellulose fibre at densities between 3.5 and 4.0 pounds per cubic feet creating a virtually impenetrable barrier for drafts.
It is the reduction in drafts that will create a real upgrade in your comfort. This is all part of the Comfort Fill difference.
A Government Approved Product
The Cellulose materials used in our Comfort Fill process are Government approved by the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC)
Time Tested and Proven Performance
Cellulose as an insulation product has been in use for more than forty years, and for good reason. It absolutely will not lose R-value over time unlike many foam products on the market today. We have taken this excellent product and innovated the process used to install it to improve its application and performance even further.
An Option to Insulate ANY Older Home
The innovations of our Comfort fill process enable us to provide an insulation solution for any older home. This includes homes which are partially or inadequately insulated such as those built between the mid 1940’s and late 1960’s. Does your home feel drafty, is it expensive to heat and cool, is it inadequately insulated? We do have a solution.
Dramatic Savings in Heating and Cooling Costs
The unique combination of high R-values and superior air tightness provided by the Comfort Fill process will ensure that your energy bills are drastically reduced. Unlike other insulation companies, we thoroughly densely pack the insulation every time. This process ensures that the insulation will never settle so that you will continue to reap the benefits for the life of your home.
Green Technology and Recycled Materials
Cellulose is made from 100% recycled paper products. Cellulose is one of the greenest building products in the world and not just as a finished product. It takes less energy to manufacture than any other insulation product on the market. You can feel comfortable about installing a product that not only provides superior performance but is also good for the planet.
A Moisture-Free Product and Process
We do not use any water during our Comfort Fill process. This ensures that you are not left with any water or moisture trapped in the wall cavities of your home.
Increased Fire Safety
Adding cellulose to your walls actually increases the fire safety of your home and blocks the spread of fire by 22% over other insulation materials. This is accomplished in two ways:
1. The material itself is fire retardant.
2. The density the insulation is packed using the Comfort Fill process further reduces the spread of flame by minimizing air infiltration in the wall cavity.
An Aesthetically Pleasing Outcome
Unlike the processes used by other installers, our Comfort Fill process leaves minimal traces of the installation process. We install through very tiny holes and carefully patch to near invisibility.
We set high standards and are determined to help you maintain the beauty and integrity of your home. Review our wall photo gallery for examples.
The fact that we are able to achieve such high insulation densities through such very small holes is a real testament to our innovative process and sets us apart from the competition.
Ultimate in Quiet
Would a quieter home make you more comfortable? Cellulose itself has great sound attenuating properties. When installed using the Comfort Fill process at high densities, the insulation provides an excellent sound barrier.
Unlike the methods used by other installers our innovations create a superior process that is our Comfort Fill difference.
