Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the questions we get asked most often. If we haven't answered your question here, contact us.

How Long Will It Take To Insulate My Home?

That of course depends which area of your house we are insulating. Attics can be completed in a few hours. How long an attic takes depends on attic square footage, access to the attic, and how much ventilation needs to be added.

We can insulate the walls of a home in less than a day.

How Do I Get A Government Grant?

See our page that describes the ecoENERGY grants or check out the official Government web site.

Can You Collect The Grant For Me?

No. The grant programs are run by the Provincial and Federal Governments. Only a licensed energy advisor can facilitate the grant process. We can however put you in touch with an energy advisor in your area.

We provide homeowners with information about these programs in order to assist them in saving money on the cost of insulation, and to help promote environmental awareness and potential energy saving measures.

How Can You Tell My Wall Is Fully Insulated?

We begin by filling in the bottom hole, and inject as much as possible. The technician then moves to the middle hole followed by the top hole.

When the insulation reaches sufficient density it will begin to restrict the flow from the nozzle indicating to the technician that they should move to the next access hole or cavity as appropriate.

Our technicians are well trained and experienced in our Dense Pack process.
